Temple City Facing The Crunch Having sensationally lost their place at the top of the table, the future of reigning champions Temple City is, according to a source inside the club, "hanging by a thread". The club is reportedly feeling the effects of an assault on two fronts, and the careers of playing and managerial staff alike are in the balance. The club has refused to comment on the speculation, but has promised to address these concerns at the end of the season. |

The Oxtonovic United board have today announced that manager Stuvart Oxtonovic will not be asked to carry on his dual role with the team and MBNA. Stuvart
Oxtonovic will see out his contract until the end of the season but it is believed that failure in the cup competitions and poor transfer policy combined with
utter failure in the premiership has led to Chairman Bruce Buck's decision.
Rumours are rife that Matias Templeton will be woo'd after what is expected to be back to back title triumphs, however local business man Carlton Co-Op is looking put in a bid for United and may look to keep Oxtonovic for his first season. |

Temple Vows To Continue With the club's finances now reported to be stable on the back of a double-winning season, Temple City manager Matthew Temple has eased fans' concerns by pledging his future to the reigning champions. Sources close to the manager had claimed that Temple was considering his future in WFFL due to the recent resignations of colleagues Stuart Oxton and Darrell Whitehead, and to the pressures of high-level management. However, given recent news that the League is to receive an injection of new talent in 2009-10, Temple has vowed to continue. |
