Oxtonovic United Chairman Bruce Buck has today announced that the club has been bought by local businessman Vivek Paul as the first part of an ambitious
project. Multi Millionaire Paul is well known in the sport and considered somewhat of a Playboy owner and succesful manager in his own right. Mr Paul has, in
good old Indian tradition opened up his own VPL and is currently undergoing the due dilligance on the following teams: Currio Rovers, Temple City, Kingsenko
Hotspurs, Vivaldo City, Whitehead Wanderers and Sammorano Rovers. The VPL is promised as an alternative to WFFL with Mr Paul keen to keep the old traditions in
place but with much less effort and commitment required.
Whilst financial details of the takeover have not been formally announced it is believed to have cost Mr Paul a large amount of requesting and emotional
blackmail. Mr Paul has decided to retain disgraced former head coach Stuvart Oxtonovic in a controversial new 'Lazy IBS only' capacity in which
Oxtonovic will only be required to participate in a TBA IBS. The day to day running of the club will be done by mystery new 'Super-Coach' Mr P.
Fantasy-League. The expected and promised retirement of Oxtonovic has been delayed due to the impassioned plea of Mr Paul , and to a degree the tear jerking
acceptance speech of champion Matias Templeton.
Jew Sports reporter Johnny Goldberg caught up with Oxtonovic outside OUFC HQ, he had the following to say: "WFFL was in my blood but it all got a bit too
much for me. I had begun to doubt my management ability over the last few years and as a result I lost my drive and desire to manage at the highest level. The
day to day running of such a league took far to much time and to be honest had drained any interest out of me. However when Mr Paul brought me his proposal I
listened and have agreed to have a crack at the VPL should he be able to deliver on his promises. I have been promised a minimal role and view this move as an
effort to keep the group together. I apologise to those fans who were glad to see me gone for the change of heart but hope to produce a good mid table team for
you to watch."

hence my original decision - dont think its worth the hassle
