Yeah, I know a few of us don't have (functioning) bikes, but I recommend spending as little as £100 at Halfords for hours of fun.
Or even £60 for a second hand one on ebay.

So I finally dragged my bike out of the shed and, as expected, it needs plenty of work. I've ordered new tyres and inner tubes. Fitting them will be the
tricky part. There's some rust here and there, so I'll need to run the rule over it and see if anything else needs replacing. I'm hoping it'll
be roadworthy in a few weeks.

and as an aside for the snowdon day we could in the alternative eat at a thai place in heswall - very nice and also i have a £10 off voucher to use in july :-)
