Here's the squad that I would take (not necessarily the one that I think Capello will pick):

James
Green
Robinson

Johnson
Terry
R. Ferdinand
A. Cole
Brown
Upson
Bridge

Lennon
Barry
Lampard
Gerrard
Milner
Beckham
Hargreaves
J. Cole

Rooney
Heskey
Defoe
Crouch
Walcott

I would always take three 'keepers. I don't envisage Foster being first choice at United in the long term, so Robinson gets the nod over Hart due to his experience. Brown is selected due to his versatility; he is reliable, if not spectacular. I'm a fan of Hargreaves and would take him ahead of Carrick on the assumption that he can remain fit and recapture the form he showed in 2006. The same goes for Joe Cole. Too good not to pick, but he must be back to his best to stay ahead of Wright-Phillips, Young, and Downing. I was loath to leave out Carlton Cole, as he can be a good option from the bench, but he has yet to fully prove himself at this level.
