I have to say I didn't have any difficulty following what was going on plot wise or robot wise.
Also, transformers is not a serious film. it's not going to win any awards, oscars, whatever. this was evident in the script. it is very tongue in cheek and full of cheesy humour some of which was actually quite funny. it doesn't take itself seriously and shouldn't in my view be judged on the same basis as a serious film. it's supposed to be entertainment. if you go to see a film for the acting, script, other such pretentious bollock that makes a supposedly "good film" then you're not going to find that with transformers.
I personally thought it had good actions scenes, was funny and really entertaining. that's all i care about in a film and that's why i gave it 5 stars. and mr t if you are interested in seeing the film i'll happily go to see it again in the cinema, even if not on an orange wednesday.
